Ecological Studies are published since 2010 twice a year. The magazine was created by transforming the monograph series Ecological Studies to a periodical, in response to the lack of space for publishing original papers of Slovak authors in the mentioned field. The journal is published two times a year in Slovak or Czech with an English abstract. The scope of the journal includes published original scientific works in basic and applied research. Papers published such as scientific papers in domestic, non-current, non-impacted journals). Publication in Ekologické štúdie is not charged and not paid.
